The Porsche Panamera is a driver enthusiast's dilemma. There's 5 different engine options. There's 6 different trim levels. There's enough factory options to choose from that would make the guys at Baskin Robbins melt. Not every Panamera is standard with the same equipment. Just about everything is a la carte--from 4.8L V8s to rear seat entertainment to exhaust buttons; some are equipped to destroy and humiliate supercars. Others are more for the common man, and this is the ultimate example of the latter.
This particular Panamera 4 is equipped with simple options. If you want to go fast, simply push the available sport buttons, and the Panamera 4 becomes something that Joe Greene would hide under his bed for. The PDK shifts are sharp and incredible to experience at high RPMs (after you take it home). The standard sound system is actually quite decent, even though it bears no Bose or Burmester name. It includes a fun spoiler button for flexing at stoplights or walking away pretending there's about to be an explosion behind you. Heated seats and heated steering wheel is available on this example, and in a handsome Dark Blue metallic paint coupled with Platinum Grey leather.
The rear seating is exceptional. The CEO of Porsche at the time, Matthias Muller, wanted to be able to sit in the rear of the Panamera comfortably--and at 6'2, that was considerably difficult. During the unveiling, he was able to showcase that directly. The rear head room is exceptional for tall passengers and has extended legroom making long drives pleasurable. With a 4-way climate control system, your independence is also worth enjoying. It's perfectly livable, with 15.7 cubic feet of cargo space, 26.4 gallon fuel capacity (good enough for almost 700 miles of highway driving capacity), moonroof, 11 speakers, and has great all-around visibility.
Don't let this Panamera wait. It's begging to be driven.
