The Seventh generation of Corvette maximized the front-end capabilities of the 6.2L V8 layout. 450 horsepower is available to the rear wheels, and if you're lucky enough to find a performance exhaust like this one, you get a small power boost to 455. The LT1 is the son of the great LS3 engine produced by GM in the late 2000s until 2014 when the 7th generation of Corvette debuted. The LT1 layout uses direct fuel injection, an advanced intake manifold and air system, active fuel management, VVT, and an enhanced cooling and dry sump-oil system.
This particular 2016 Stingray comes with the 3LT package--about every bell and whistle and convenience feature you can find with Corvette comes standard. Enjoy ventilated seats in your summer escape to Flagstaff or enjoy them heated for a weekend spring cruise to Sloan Park to watch the Cubbies. Powered by a power folding convertible top, the top goes from open to close in roughly 20 seconds, and should you be operating it at a stoplight and it goes green, it will open or close at speeds up to 30 mph.
